Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is presently two years through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the first significant trophy of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he once was, and would certainly think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
